termination of the tenancy agreement
Your Residential Tenancy Agreement is a legally binding contract, providing protection for both you and the owner. You can terminate the Residential Tenancy Agreement in the following ways:
- If you intend to vacate at the end of your Residential Tenancy Agreement we ask that you provide us with 21 days written notice prior to the expiry of the fixed term of your Agreement.
- Once the fixed term has expired, you are required to provide bellcourt property group with 21 days written notice of your intention to vacate the premises.
If unforseen circumstances arise and you need to vacate prior to the expiry of your Residential Tenancy Agreement, please contact one of our Property Managers immediately and we will endeavour to find another suitable tenant. However, you may be responsible for rent and maintenance of the property until another tenant is found, as well as other costs associated with the reletting of the property.
Please be aware if there are more than one party on the lease agreement, you must advise our office should one tenant leave during your tenancy as paperwork must be completed. This will ensure a hassle free disposal of your bond when the tenancy is finalised.
