Meaning ‘western land’, the name Hesperia reflects the company’s local heritage and its desire to evolve within a growing community and to make a positive, long-term contribution to Western Australia’s development. Hesperia is focused on delivering places of enduring value, unlocking potential in place, by being the local leader in urban regeneration, with a focus on projects that provide tangible social and environmental benefits.

Hesperia’s projects span key sectors of the economy, particularly commercial, industrial, residential, retail, medical and hospitality. The company is active in the rapidly emerging sustainability sector through the innovation and commercialisation of activities such as renewable energy services, carbon farming projects and recycled material services.

Hesperia is Western Australia’s first Certified B Corporation in the property industry, which verifies its commitment to maintaining the highest levels of social and environmental performance. This certification recognises the measures taken to ensure the business model and operational activities positively impact on people, communities, environment and customers.

Hesperia’s goal is to ensure carbon neutrality in construction of its projects and its corporate activities. The company signed the World Green Building Council’s Net Zero Carbon Buildings Commitment as part of the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26).
