As Perth's evenings begin to warm up, the Subi Night Market has returned for another season, transforming Market Square Park into a lively Saturday night destination filled with food, music and community atmosphere.

Running every Saturday evening from September 2026 through to May 2027, the markets bring together an exciting mix of international flavours, local makers and entertainment, offering something for families, friends and anyone looking for a relaxed evening out.

A world of flavours in one place

Food is at the heart of the Subi Night Market experience, with more than 40 food vendors offering everything from international street food to gourmet desserts.

This season welcomes several new additions, including Cha Pang with its Thai pancake rolls, Celtic Cravings serving Irish-inspired comfort food, and Piadina Nonna Pina offering traditional Italian flatbreads.

Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy loaded cookies from Emotional Support Cookies or explore Japanese matcha and hojicha creations from MatchérieXO.

Returning favourites include Taco Daddy, Pasta e Fagioli and Banana Leaf Filipino Cuisine, while local distillery Spirit of Little Things is back with a pop-up bar serving botanical cocktails and locally crafted drinks.

More than just a food market

Beyond the food, visitors can explore around 20 artisan traders showcasing locally made products, from handmade candles and homewares to fashion, gifts and gourmet treats.

Live entertainment is another highlight, with the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts joining the markets for the first time this season to provide weekly music and roving performances.

Visitors can also look forward to outdoor movie screenings, jazz performances, dance classes and other activities throughout the season.

For something a little different, the markets will transform into the Subi Fright Market on Saturday 31 October, with Halloween-themed entertainment, trick-or-treating, face painting and an outdoor movie screening.

A Saturday night in Subiaco

Inspired by the atmosphere of European village squares, the markets encourage visitors to slow down, explore the stalls and enjoy an evening outdoors.

Whether you're sharing a meal at one of the communal tables, spreading out a picnic rug or browsing the artisan stalls, there's plenty of opportunity to make a night of it.

The markets are also conveniently located beside Subiaco Train Station, making them easy to reach by public transport. Dogs are welcome on leads, and entry is free.
