WA Comedy Week is back for 2025, turning Subiaco into Perth’s comedy capital from 18–23 August. The festival showcases the sharpest local talent across all forms—from razor-sharp stand-up to theatrical sketches, improv, musical variety, and everything in between.

Expect a packed lineup of hilarious experiences across three vibrant venues: Subiaco Arts Centre, BARK Subiaco, and Lums Wine Bar (Upstairs).

Tuesday 19 Aug
• Where’s Mum? with David Hughes & Tori Griffiths at 7 pm — a tongue-in-cheek look at fatherhood
• Fresh Comedy Showcase of WA at 8:30 pm — catch this year’s funniest up-and-coming local comedians for just $15.
Thursday 21 Aug
• Home But Away featuring Ian Burke & David Callan at 7 pm — two international comedians now based in WA share laughs rooted in global experiences. Tickets start at $17.50.
Friday 22 Aug
• Bogan Shakespeare: Macbeth at 7 pm — Bogan humour meets the Bard in this budget-friendly, high-energy take on Shakespeare for just $25.
WA Comedy Week
• Suns of Fred: Crack Up! at 8:30 pm — another laugh-out-loud performance at the Arts Centre, from $30.
Saturday 23 Aug — a big laugh day:
• Joel & Janelle Have Stories to Tell at 2:30 pm — Joel Creasey reunites with best friend Janelle for a personal, hilarious, no-holds-barred conversation. Tickets are $51.
• Improv RPG: Dungeons & Dragons at 5 pm — improv meets fantasy fun, $25 entry.
• WA Comedy All-Stars at 8:30 pm — featuring WA’s top comedic performers in one night that’s bound to sell out. Tickets start from $40.
