ANZAC Day in Perth will be observed on Saturday 25 April 2026, bringing the community together to honour and remember the service and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand Defence Force personnel.
Across the city, a full program of commemorative services and events will take place, with thousands expected to attend.
The day begins at 5:45am with the iconic Dawn Service at the State War Memorial in Kings Park, where crowds gather at first light for a moment of reflection and remembrance. This is one of the most significant ANZAC services in Western Australia.
Following the Dawn Service, attendees can join the traditional Gunfire Breakfast at Government House Gardens, offering a chance to come together in a relaxed setting and reflect on the meaning of the day.
From 9:00am, the ANZAC Day March moves through St Georges Terrace, with veterans, serving personnel, and community groups marching through the city as crowds line the streets in support and remembrance.
Later in the morning, a service at St George’s Cathedral provides a quieter space for reflection, while Anzac House and surrounding CBD venues open their doors for veterans and the public to connect and commemorate together.
Beyond the city centre, ANZAC Day is also marked with events such as the Ascot Races ANZAC Day Raceday, local RSL services, and community gatherings across suburbs.
